I love Facepunch and how they treat rust. They don't release an update until they feel like it is concrete and fully refined and if something like a glitch or something of that nature pops up they fix it IMMEDIATELY

We Need to be able to use meds underwater. Fact that there are Soo many cool underwater places AND Fact that every single one has 100% chance there to be a shark, we simply need to be able to heal while underwater.simple as that

Sightlines and terrain has greatly improved to buff solos. Looking forward to these changes. Reminds me of legacy rust. Clan compounds, roof sniper towers, and roaming geared groups can't just beam you from the empty plains like before. Quite nice.

In terms of another update for the world, I'd like to see them rework mountains. They should be easier to climb now, but those giant mountations on large maps where a huge pain to transverse on foot and it was very difficult to build anything. The nodes would often be bugged there and not spawn too, so those mountains were really a big featureless area. Train tunnels passing through mountains, flatter areas for building bases, reworking monuments (like military tunnels and the quarries) so they spawn into / on mountains and a new mine monument would be some ways to make mountains more interesting.

I think it would be cool if the rivers in the snow were frozen like ice lakes and you could use some tool to cut down to the water to either place pumps or ice fish.

cant wait for this update, its gonna make it so much more fun to play solo, sick of flat surfaces where 10 mans can just empty clips at you until they hit 4 shots and ur dead

I know it’s predominantly a PVP game but as a solo who loves the danger of the PVP environment while trying to role play and build bases, I’d love to be able to manipulate the environment more such as dig into cliffs to create my own cave or plant trees around a base in an ‘attempt’ to hide it. Looking forward to this update though.

Honestly more excited for the DPV than anything. Bikes changed the game for me on land I think water wipes are gonna be in my future next month.

1:44 you aren't used to them because for whatever the majority of servers don't use a map large enough.

Honestly that's why I'm worried this world update might not be as great as we're hoping for. The current world already has a few unique terrains that generate exclusively on the larger maps, it's just that no one plays on those servers and hardly anyone uses them
