This actually happened to me a couple years ago on Upper Red Lake in MN (same place where some of those news clips took place no doubt lol). I was fishing in my ice shack and suddenly realized I couldn't see my lure on my 'ducer screen because I was trolling on a floating ice sheet... Looked outside towards shore and was like uh-oh...
