Greek Island Runs Out Of Room For Refugee Bodies

The burial grounds on Greece’s Island of Lesvos has reached capacity after the massive influx of refugee deaths. Roughly 3,300 refugees have died while attempting to cross the Aegean Sea whose waters have only gotten worse over the past several weeks. The island’s Mayor Spyros Galinos is trying to locate free burial grounds for bodies, while Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has taken to criticizing the EU’s response to the ongoing refugee crisis.
