Project Snowbird - 2020 GT500 - Where it Stands Now

We've been able to pull out some big horsepower numbers from Project Snowbird - the 2020 Shelby GT500 we're partnering with Jokerz Performance and Late Model Throttle on. With very little modifications, we were able to get nearly 1,000 RWHP from the beast of a machine. 2" LTH with O/R X-pipe thru factory mufflers . Surely with the intake side flowing, the exhaust has to be the party pooper ! Track Attack made how much power ? it would be very interesting with 2" primaries and really letting it breathe with 105 TB & ported blower ???

Awesome results Justin! Really that’s an amazing number on a stock supercharger, longblock, trans. Personally I’d optimize the exhaust, add some sticky rubber (maybe even wheels) and enjoy it. With exhaust and fine tuning, having 1000rwhp on E85 is mind bending. I hope you and the family and coworkers stay healthy!

You have done a great job with the car!
I would do drag radials and skinny's, see how that does on the track, then look at suspension and chassis mods.

Fantastic and beautiful Shelby GT500. It speaks highly of the way you have explored different bolt on's and minor mods to obtain over 900 HP. I'm wondering what plans do you have with mods to the DTC. It appears to be a solid transmission, but it seem to be hurting the 60' times of the car at launch. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to future videos.

I say you keep it where it’s at and concentrate on getting it to 60ft. It has enough power to run mid to low 9s.

I would stop right here, plenty of power for a daily driver. You’ve made significant power gains with the few mods you have done over showroom stock!!
