Cloudbusting is one of my favorites from Kate Bush. The guy the song is based on is a very controversial person, but the song is gold. It is funny that my brain keep saying “something is different here” because I’ve listen to her song so much. But I like this. Sinking was a good choice to mix it together with. (My wife is a huge Cure fan so lucky I know the song. Not my favorite band, but they’re not bad)
And I laughed at you saying you bought these on cassette. I was going to make a joke about being old, but then I remember the first cassette I had purchased was Falco’s Falco 3 cassette. (We’re all friends here with no judgment? 😂😂) So I instead starting laughing at myself. But I remember it so well! I bought it at a store in Hawaii and went through so many batteries on my Walkman! 48 years old now and boy, how the world has changed!
