I’ve seen a video of Tim being hugged by children after giving them free school meals and felt joy, I’ve seen trump with young children and felt like calling child protective services they are worlds apart

I now live in Texas ( ex north London), I listen to the newsagents UK religiously, but, simply couldn’t listen while Biden was the 2nd term democratic presidential candidate, made me sick to my stomach thinking Trump was a shoe-in. Now, I’m energized. I refused to contribute to Biden (2nd term candidacy), but have contributed heavily to Harris. Just FYI: for my entire life I’ve voted conservative / republican … until 2016 in the USA and 2024 in the UK .. I’m now labour / democratic ... maybe its an age related phenomenon.

He isn’t going to primarily move the needle much with blue collar men or Trump-leaning men. But I do think he wins over more conservative women (who see Harris as a west coast liberal far from PA). Those suburban (white) women will win this election for either candidate. His type of masculinity and language on reproductive rights will be persuasive for suburban women. Now, once you convince the women that can cascade to husbands and family members.
