Commented about tidal water like a week ago, and you put a video up alreadyyy😎👍 I fish south east louisiana, north of lake Pontchartrain... there is a system of rivers down here that the tide impacts.. depending on tide, wind, and water from up north, the rivers will flow different ways, some currents stronger than others it can be a challenge.. would love to see if you have fished over here or heard about the area.. the pearl river is the main river then it break off into the east and west pearls.. the west also gets feed by another river, the bouge chitto... theres also a stretch of canal and lock systems connected on the west side of the west pearl.. the 2 pearls flow south towards the marsh, and lake borne... but between them, once below interstate 10, there are 3 more river mainly feed from west pearl but are also affected by the east pearll.. they all flow down and meet and connect at a bunch of different spots... it's a blast to fish.. not many places like it reallyy.. tough to fish at time but can produce some quality fish.. the lower end is brackish so not odd to catch reds and specks.. bass too.. we catch alot off marsh bass that are in salt water pretty much..

I live by the Ca Delta and these tips are huge and correct. Another place to check tides and times accurately is in your fish finder. I have a Lowrance and in the pages section there is a button for tides.

I fish the California delta most of the time and I agree with just about everything you mention here. Running the tides is difficult even when you know the river system. A heavy rain system or drought year can change almost everything spot you may have found. Also from my experience, fishing an outgoing tide is usually better than an incoming except for maybe winter and the spawn. Keep the videos coming. I like to hear your perspective on fishing to see how much it matches how fishing is out here in the West.

Thanx Tyler. I fish tide water 90% of the time and you confused me on running the tides. You might want to try that again. If you fish tide water enough you will learn how to catch them in all tide conditions. The fish don't move far.
