I struggled with this. Perfectionism in any form is a killer for sure. It wasted my time because in my mind I thought that if I could do things successfully the first time, then why even try. By now I could have had a good career. I discovered cooking and learned that it’s ok to make mistakes, it’s ok to not do well on something the first time. But also that no one got to be good at something by giving up.
