Rogan does not seem to understand he is reading a modern translation not the original greek version translated..

I saw the short on stoicism and ordered the book. Thriftbooks had many used copies at around 3-4 dollars each. My copy was in the mail the same day. I also got got "The Art of War" by Sun-tzu.

Not many stoics out there today just people trotting in dark or mire seeking out w/e life philosophy comes along. Some direction in life is never a miss, certainly under the young adults. I like that he turned to stoicism, but not so much the neglect of other streams of philosophy, witch are also are very propounding or even enlightening it's good to have a face that goes with a sound and positive message. We can all use some more epistemological thinkers.
anyway i wanna see more Socrates he is still my favorite for now all tho i'm liking Heidegger more and more as well. :D

I'm not sure you should say it was not his intention for meditations not to be read. Because he was a high figure all his life would be saved and his writings would be studied just like they did their fore fathers, how they learn to war and peace. How they became an empire in the first place. Mortified seems such a fufu word.
