I dont know any other pop stars of today that mix art, performance, dancing, gender, lyrics and personas in such a sincere, authentic way.

All the other female pop stars reinvent their look each album, but it often feels fake and manufactured. You can sense the genuine ethos in Chris's work. Like David Bowie did.

As much as I like the electronic sound, I hope one day he makes music with a band. That voice would sound soo good over guitars/strings/ sax/ drums!

The song is fantastic, as always, but to be honest I'm mesmerized by the dancing. He has such a distinct way of moving, very somatic, he's clearly very conscious of the way his body FEELS in the movement, the resistance or lack of. I've also always loved the way he throws his center of gravity around somewhat recklessly; watching his performances I'm always on the edge of my seat feeling like he's about to fall over, and now that he actually has it feels kind of cathartic lolol. What a gorgeous, personal performance.

Certaines personnes se réjouissent dans les commentaires de "retrouver enfin" la Christine and the Queens des débuts. Pour moi cette essence n'est jamais vraiment partie et transparaît de manière différente dans chaque projet. Il y a vraiment une cohérence et une progression, en nuance. On assiste plutôt au déploiement de l'immense liberté artistique de Chris qui propose quelque chose d'unique non seulement en France mais sur la scène mondiale. En tout cas c'est magnifique, je compte les jours avant l'album.

I can't get this song and the words out of my head. It stirred feelings in me when I was feeling low. It's a somber time for me because the one year anniversary of my mom's death is coming up. I've been through a lot, ups and downs. I've spent a lot of time alone with my thoughts. I feel so connected to this song and video. I love that it's shot in black and white, like Wings of Desire.
