I like the restraint that these two actors use when the characters are clearly wanting to madly kiss and embrace. It fits the culture of the era—more would have been much less.

The newer version is lovely and in many scenes I prefer it. But this second proposal in this version shows the character development and easy conversational chemistry and a certain comfort between the two. I love it so.

The 2005 version imo is more modernized romance, that's why its more popular. Like wattpad. Meanwhile this one, its more like the real tension and feel.
