Problem:
A circular steel bar ABCD, rigidly fixed at A and D is subjected to axial loads of 50 kN and 100 kN at B and C. Find the loads shared by each part of the bar and displacements of the points B and C. Take E for steel as 200 GPa.

Answers:
P1 = 29.4 kN (T)
P2 = 20.6 kN (C)
P3 = 120.6 kN (C)
Displacement of B = 0.9 mm towards the right.
Displacement of C = 0.07 mm towards the right.

This is the best (and only) explanation for a 3-section statically indeterminate problem like this that I could find on YouTube. Thank you so much.

You have already said . P3-p2 =100 but, you wrote there is p2-p3=100.. that's little bit confused...

It should be p2-p3 =100 na coz p2 and 100kn in same direction .why you changed it into p3-p2 ?
Can anyone explain this ?
