Sabhi Govt. Employee 9 am to 5pm tak duty nahi karte hai, koi shift duty karta hai to koi turn aane se duty karta hai, aise me month me aise kai din ho jate hai jisme employee 09:15 to 15:30 rest hrs. me hota hai, to kya aise employee trading kar sakte hai ya nahi...???

For those people who are saying they don't know the definition of long
Read the Section 2(42A) in The income tax act, 1995....it clearly say an asset will be considered as short term capital asset if held by assessee for not more than 36 months immediately preceding the date of its if you are a government employee...to consider your investment as long term....you must invest at least for 36 if your investment is more than the 6 months of your basic pay....you need to inform your department about it through filling a form....Good luck guys...happy investment

If government employees are not at all involved at all in internal matters and speculation of any company and not doing in their duty hour's (they can put GTT), so if not interfering with internal affairs of company still how they can be barred, this law is with lot flaws can't explain here all, will be beaten in court of law.
