Make 12% today! Can you sell a LEAPS option and make 12%? Sure!... But should you?

Trying to make a 12% return by selling simple 1 year expiration puts and calls is fairly easy but make sure you consider the downside. A lot can happen in 1 year! In this video I will go over a couple of examples selling LEAPS (puts and calls) to generate a large up front return that could be re-invested today… or used for anything else. The ultimate double dip! In many ways, I think this is a safer way to enter the market if you have a large influx of money instead of putting it all in at one time buying stocks. Just something to kick around!

I have bought leaps before but never thought of selling them. It's a great idea for getting cash to buy during this crash.

Thank you for the videos! Question, what happens if you do a leap a year out, and the stock splits? Does it adjust on its own? What happens if its a call vs a put? I havent seen videos out there with this happening at all. Your FB leap you have would be the best example. Thank you!

Thanks for great illustrations! I have a friend who is doing option trading and he uses the wheel strategy and has been doing option training for about 6 month now. He claims that he averages about 20% ROI annually and he sells calls and puts and once he hits 70% profit he closes the options!
Is this possible? Or he is just bluffing? What do you think? Is it possible?
