History of Sabre - Glen Chaplin

Our fourth History of Sabre interview features Glen "Chappy" Chaplin, from our Customer Service Team.

Glen is terrific asset for Sabre. As a new owner of  Sabre 42, he has been a great help to me. How does this guy know so much about each boa? thanks Glen for being responsive.

Glen is awesome. Helps customers with issue large and small. Very friendly, service-oriented and knowledgeable. A real gem.

Called him in the middle of a blow on Georgian Bay with a wiper issue. He gave me what I needed, and followed up with an email. Very thoughtful.

Patient, knowledgeable, searches for the most workable and timely solutions, with customers, dealers and vendors. Lucky to have him on the team!

Now, I can add a face to a name!
As a recent new (used) Sabre owner, I would unequivocally state that Glen is one of Sabre’s greatest assets. Shortly after buying my boat, I called the phone number I’d been given for him. As a new proud owner of an older Sabre, I had a plethora of questions about my model, from rigging to the engine. When I called his number, I expected to get the usual voicemail greeting along with the comment to “leave a message and someone will return your call”. To my surprise, Glen not only answered his phone (rare in today’s world of corporate Customer Service) but spent an inordinate amount of time patiently answering my questions and concerns! I was amazed and very thankful for his knowledge and professionalism.
I have had the pleasure to speak with Glen on a couple of occasions since then and he’s always graced me with the same customer service.
Thank you Glen, and thank you Sabre for affording us the precious resource he represents. It speaks well of your company.

Glen!!!! Finally! I'm the owner of S-28 sail #13 (lucky Thirteen" we call her). You were indispensable to me in the last 10 years Sabre Yachts - This guy is absolutely priceless to EVERY owner of a Sabre sailboat. He ALWAYS gets back to us and has the EXACTLY the right answer...
