GMC has updated their trucks more than Ford in the last few years. I’m impressed. The GMC looks like a stronger, sturdier, more comfortable truck. GMC wins here just based on these baseline models.

The + and - on the gear shift isn't really for changing gears "yourself". I would say it is for choosing ( or rather limiting) the gear range when in low.

It's funny to me that a vehicle over 50k has a key and halogen bulbs.. I'd go with the GMC

At this level the GMC is a better buy, but if you jump to an F-150 XLT 302A with a sport appearance pack the Ford is much better in every way.

2022 refresh is at least a grand or so cheaper than the 2023. GMC increased it's prices. More bang for buck in the GMC for similar money which is insane. Even with the 5.3 or the duramax

Comparing apples to oranges or at least oranges to grapefruit. You couldn't find a F-150 2.7 turb to compare with the GMC turb???? Come on!!!

I'd get the GMC, looks better, has 4wd Auto, and it tows better. It's heavier and more stable for towing then the aluminum ford to lightweight.

I don't like the fact that the vehicles are not equal regardless of the price I think the vehicles need to have the same features inorder to be totally fear the prices are not going to be the same

Compare the right one a full load xlt or lariat to show a real fordF150 way better for the price and engine 2.7 ecoboost better not a little 4 banger on gmc

They trade back and forth with a few things but halogen lights are an automatic dq for me. But I am thankful for getting my fully loaded 2018 ford raptor a year ago for just a hair over the price of the elevation. Warranty is a concern but the trucks just do not compare.

Is this a fair comparison? Isn't the Elevation higher in trim to the XLT? Shouldn't the Elevation be compared to the Lariat? My thoughts anyway as I stand corrected

gmc for sure looks better but the ford 5.0 still out performs the 5.3 if only u could get the 6.2 in the lower trims or they made the truck lighter i’d be sold

How can you compare the XLT's ride quality with the Platinum's ride quality when you've only driven the XLT a hundred feet at 4 MPH? How is this possible? I'm not going to buy ANY full sized pickup with a four banger under the hood. I don't care what GM says about its capabilities. Four poppers belong in little cars.
