I’m so glad you didn’t completely do away with the black character. When I saw him and noticed he was black, I thought it was so dope and that card immediately became my favorite. I personally kind of like the more mysterious look of the king of spades, and as a black woman I didn’t feel offended at all, but I understand why you changed it and I’m just glad he’s still in the deck. I can’t wait to buy mine!

As a black woman, I wasn’t personally offended but I love that you to take time and care to listen to your fans. It’s great that you didn’t ditch the character on the king of spades altogether but you repurposed him for the king of hearts and it’s so much more dope. Alsooo love the 9 to 5 reference!

For the magicians please make one of the "ad" card a double backer (has the back design on both sides)

Hey Peter, so this is an idea for your deck, the “advertisement” cards that are usually included in a standard deck of bicycle cards, I’m sure we would all love a little bio card of yourself and info graphic about this love project, but also, a lot of magician decks have gaff cards as an extra card in the deck so you could do something like a double backed card or something along those lines?

Please make the last Ad-card a double-back-card. This way we can use the cut version for magic tricks and on the uncut sheets we still can see the amazing artwork if we hang it on our Walls.

Also I'm missing the Suicide King reference on the New King of Hearts. But big props for Changing it.

The fact that you listened about the spade thing shows you a real one! I had no problem with it, I actually loved it, but I did notice it! I can see how some people could take it the wrong way but as a black man I loved it! Either way we here til the wheels fall off then we pushing!

An idea for your next big project... I'd love to see how you'd design a chess set. Seeing your character art in little 3D chess pieces would be so awesome! You could even do little spray paint can men for the pawns!

Earlier in the Series you mentioned "chipping or bleed" on the edge, won't that be a problem with the Number Cards?

Since Kickstarter has goals you can add to your campaign, I was thinking maybe you can have skateboard decks as one of your goal rewards?! The art of your court cards would make sick skateboard decks. Maybe have 4 versions even (one for each suit)??!

I feel like the new heart king's clothes stand out compared to the queen and the jack. Other cards seem to have more cohesion when it comes to that.

I thought the idea was to avoid having ink at the edges of the card so that one couldn't tell what card it was by just looking at the edges. So wouldn't you have to modify the interconnected pip design to avoid having the image go directly to the edges of the cards?

Only thing about the new King of Hearts is that it doens't tie in with the Queen and Jack as much as the other pairs does. You still have the very "spade specific" blue, and not much of the "heart specific" red, if you know what I mean. Other than that - this deck of card is going to be dope af!

Hi! When you showed all the cards together I realized something: the seven of diamonds and the seven of spades have a much larger illustration than the other two. By having much more visual information, when we see all the cards together they will not look harmonious. My recommendation is that all seven cards have a large illustration compared to the other numbers since 7 is the lucky number. Cheers!

I’m a middle-aged black dude, so I’m acquainted with the Old Slurs. I definitely noticed the King of Spades. I wasn’t offended or anything but I was hoping you wouldn’t catch any grief over it. For what it’s worth, I think the change works and the deck is stronger for it.

Just a thought. I remember that you didn't want to do a full bleed because it causes chipping on the cards. But on some of the number cards, there is art that goes to the edge of the cards to make the art go-between cards. Is that going to cause issues with chipping or?

An idea for the Uncut Deck layout is that the "ten row" is in the middle dividing the Spades and Diamonds from the Clubs and Hearts. And then maybe ordered in AD, Joker, 10S, 10D, 10C, 10H, Joker, AD.
As a way to centralized and emphasize the 10s.

Thats if you can specify the layout but otherwise absolutely love this project can't wait to get my hands on this deck!
