I didn't think it was possible for a student to go through the public indoctrination centers called "school" & come out with their capacity to question the so called "authority fugures, " still intact.

I think it's inspiring that you are still capable of asking questions regarding things that you were programmed to accept as "facts" .

You have restored my hopes for the future of our youth. Thank you.

first of all, dinosaur bones were found by random people many times, like in 1667 a british man discovered a big bone, he tough it was from giant man but he was wrong, in 1980s a farmer from argentina has found a large bone, which turned out to be largest dinosaur ever lived, dinosaur fossils date back to ancient china and roman empire.

Fossils are not bones. Instead the bones decomposed and sentiment set in place of the bones.

You know what, debunking time.

1. Dino Casts: Like she said we need casts because the can break and all that shit, but the casts are an almost identical copy ( I say copy because nothing is an exact copy ) of a real life fossil in a museum somewhere else in the world.
2. Dino Guesser: ok, have any of you heard of the man who predicted the findings of elements by using the already known elements in the periodic table, well Charles used animal that are still alive and got lucky with the guessing that they were reptiles.
3. Evolution: When dinosaurs were first discovered people thought they were big slow lizards not repítelo bird hybrids, it was only in the 1990s that we looked at the fossils and were like “Hey this T. rex has a wishbone and this Archaeopteryx has feather like imprints on the skeleton and the velociraptor as small little holes on its arm bones that match those on the wings of birds, and almost all of these dinosaurs had hollow bones, LIKE FUCKING
4. “Only paleontologists fond fossils”: wrong, most fossils like Sue ( the biggest T. rex found until recently were they found one in Canada ) was found on a dudes farm. And the biggest megalodon tooth deposit in the world is on private property. And almost every skeleton found in some weird ass places were found by random people. Including contractors.
5. Dino expense: the reason why fossils cost so much is because the digging up process, and the transportation process is very expensive because the fossils are so fragile.
And if any of you say “but why didn’t anyone find fossils before the Charles dude” well because people didn’t know what a tres looked like and if the saw a bone, the wouldn’t have bothered with digging up an entire skeleton of a big ass apatosaurus and the just thought “diss kinda look like a dragon” and boom. The same thing happened with the Greeks and elephants. They thought elephants were giant cyclopses.

Same with prehistoric humans, you can't just go dig one up in your backyard.

Actual bones are kept in storage and sometimes they are able to recreate whole skeletal systems using a few bones. Also, dinosaur bones have always been fond, our ancestors thought they were things like dragons and giants. I think it’s great that you’re questioning everything, but there ARE ways to predict things like how a skeletal system may have looked.
And plenty of construction workers and “regular people” have fond fossils.
Maybe you should focus your inquisitive nature into volunteering or interning for a local fossil dig?

Plus that's a hell of a lot of trouble to fake, just to make us believe in something, with seemingly no agenda or benefit to do so.

It's fascinating the reaction of people in the comment section, their reaction is the same as all the Christian fundamentalists when Jesus' Historicity is questioned, it's ironically the same type of behaviour, the feeling of having all of your world fall apart and your absolutes questioned, one goes but...The Bible says and other goes but...the Origin of Species says.

Even if they are not true there was still no oxygen level for humans to live, and if an asteroid never hit the earth it would have never changed out pollution and oxygen levels. This is my theory don’t fucking hate rankers.

Not to be mean, but some research would help here. People have been finding fossils of dinosaurs for years, but didn't know what to classify them as. Iguanodon(1825) and Megalosaurus(1824) were even named before the term dinosaur was even invented. Paleontology is a vast science and is more than just dinosaurs, so look into it if you want.

Fun facts.

Museums do actually have dinosaur and ancient mammal bones. They are usually contained in storage rooms usually in shelves or similar catalogued or not. Plaster cast are created for display due to the risk of damaging the bones or risking further destruction by enviornment or people. Documentaries and similar do sometimes gain access to these sections of museums and you can tell the bones are distinctly different than the cast well looking the same. This is due to fossils being essentially rock that has the imprint of the animals bones.

The Origins of Humans understanding of dinosaurs goes back centuries but it was only in the last 200 years or so that humanity formally understood the bones they were uncovering actually where. Dinsosaur fossils exposed to the surface may have been the inspiration for the mythical dragon or the sphinx and other unknown cryptids. To the average person in ancient times they likely had no idea what they were.

Your average person does occasionally run into dinosaur or ancient animal bones. Its just not heard of often due to privacy and also cause such findings tend to get reactions from fossil hunters looking to buy it or steal them for profit. Usually what happens is a normal person will find it then at some point a person known as a paleontologist a person who studies fossils and ancient life will go to the location usually by permission of the finder to check and begin excavations.

Fossils are exspensive when found as they are imprints of once living creatures. They are basically highly detailed rocks. The amount of detail on some makes it difficult for even forgaries to be made. This is why when such fossils are brought up for auction or sale legally. That the location of where they were found and rock material is important as it proves authencitiy.

There are a few living animals today that existed the same era as dinosaurs in some form or another.

The Celocath which living fish are found today.
Sharks in many forms.
Alligators and Crocs.
The Birds.

Some examples.

caloric intake. a large african elephant spends up to 18 hours a day eating to get and maintain his bulk. dinosaurs could not have eaten enough to get any larger. always question when you are told what happened millions of years ago.
