for that first weird chord instead of using a barre chord I recommend using your pointer finger to only fret the 2nd fret of the G string.

A friendly tip. On the slide from 2nd to 4th fret on the dmajor chord strum D, G, and B strings for a warm and fuzzy tone on the slide. This allows you to also remove and rest your tired pinky! 😋 thank you so much for the amazing lessons Marty!!

I've been playing lead guitar for 30 years with no problem. But, playing chords and fingerpicking has always been a struggle. I've tried this song many times before and gave up. Dude, your tutorials imo are by far the best, so easy to follow and i can tell by where you pause on parts, that you know which bits people are really going to struggle with. This is a difficult song to play and i have small ass hands but i can nearly play it after 3 days (already knew that tricky D chord luckily) lol. Thanks from the uk man you're the best.
