There was a great George Clooney movie “Up In The Air” around the time of the Great Recession where he played a consultant who specializes in teaching organizations how to do layoffs. I like this guy better, he has the right idea about treating people with compassion and empathy.

I like the whole "don't talk in euphemisms". Talk in plain language. Being made redundant or laid off is painful enough without trying to translate corporate jingo as well.
