This clip makes me cry literally every time. It is such a beautiful depiction of God's love. No "behold me" no "come sinner and meet thy lord". An eyeball who has known nothing but frustration and rage for the whole of its life appears before the pearly gates. And with hesitation, without judgement. The gates open, and the lord tells his child that all is forgiven. I was raise religious but don't really know where to put myself now. And something about this makes me understand the power of divine forgiveness like no Bible lesson ever did. Make no mistake, with full sincerity, those 5 or so seconds are some of the most powerful religious media I have ever consumed.
