Cersei looking down at people enjoying themselves plotting something terrible

The way Cersei is looking down at her daughter and the girls is a great detail. She's there in a darkened room alone with her brother drinking and talking about poltical affairs while her daughter is just having fun. Myrcella has no spite, no anger that Cersei was always prone to even as a child, and maybe that wounds Cersei. She refuses to befriend other women because she looks down on them, and herself for being a woman, while also feeling the need to be superior to them. She's just a sad, bitter drunk who's self hatred was reinforced by her father and her horrible impulses left unchecked.

Tyrion quotes Varys, master of whispers because he values knowledge.
Cersei quotes Littlefinger, master of coin because she values gold, and being a slimy cnt

“We can put spend him 3 to 1” Tyrion was the smartest person. He knows you can’t spend money like that even if you win the war you’ll lose the kingdoms.

Ironically, if Stannis didn't kill Renly the Tyrells wouldn't join forces with the Lannisters. He ended up playing himself

After my third time watching GoT I have to say, this is probably one of the only times I've seen Cersei 'happy' in the presence of Tyrian. When you psycho analyze it, you see a man who is seeking the love he never got from his mother in the next best thing, his older sister. He's eager to connect with her. The wine definitely makes it easier of course. This is also the turning point for Cersei. This is when her character finally begins to understand the nuances of politics and war, via the younger brother she detests and abuses. It's almost like a shakespeare tragedy.

He was so witty and cunning in the first seasons. Then he became a desperate fool and sabotaged our Queen. Deep down he never wanted Danny to overthrow Cersei and Jaime. He loved his family.

That same belief that having money can fix all your problems never leaves her since in the end, she thought because they could afford to hire the Golden Company that it somehow meant they could counter Dragons.

“And I say father raised to have too much respect for money” is absolutely one of the best dialogues of Tyrion and Hilarious too
