Tata ACE Electric Launched With 154 Kms Range | Features Include 7 Inch Infotainment & TPMS

After Dominating the passenger Electric Vehicle segment, it's time to disrupt the commercial ev segment. Tata Motors has officially launched the new ACE electric small cargo vehicle. With this addition the Tata ACE is now available in Petrol, Diesel, CNG and Electric Powertrain options. Prices of Tata Ace Electric will be announced when delivery starts.

Gets 600 kilogram payload capacity and grade-ability of 22% allowing easy ascend in fully loaded conditions. Powered by a single AC induction motor, that puts out 36hp with 130Nm of peak torque. This LCV EV is juiced up by 21.3 kwh battery pack with LFP cells, ensuring efficient performance and protection at higher temperature conditions. Gets 154 kilometer certified range, thus expected to offer 120 kilometer range in real world conditions.

Gets IP67 Water Resistant Rating ensuring minimum water wading. Gets both Regular and fast charging support. Can complete 20 to 100% in 6-7 hours in regular charging. 10 to 80% achieved in 105 minutes using fast charger. Also Gets regenerative braking.

In terms of design, Tata Ace electric is largely the same as its fossil fuel powered counterpart. However, it gets a dedicated EV branding for proper differentiation. At the unveiling, Tata showcased a fully covered cargo cabin with ‘ACE EV’ branding in big, bold lettering.

Speaking about features, on the inside it gets a 7 inch infotainment system with bluetooth connectivity. Instrument cluster is mounted on the center dash, just about the infotainment system. It gets a rear parking camera, tyre pressure monitoring system, etc.

Tata motors also signed MOU with various B2B partners including Amazon and flipkart. This helped generating 39,000 pre-orders for the new Tata Ace EV.
