I've had my shop since May '24 with no sales and not many views. I'm still having trouble focusing on one thing. I don't know what product or niche I want to do and my research is very scattered also. I've always needed a step by step plan but can't afford any coaching or courses so I"m just trying to figure it out slowly. I think next holiday season I’m going to take your advice and get a virtual assistant. Of course if my store does that kind of volume beforehand I’d gladly do it sooner lol Q4 customer service is extremely stressful for me. 😅 It actually screwed up my sleep schedule so much. I was up till 4am every night just to try to get some me time into the day. The anxiety I felt about waking up to tons of messages and potential problems 😅 About a week into December I turned my ad budget down and increased my processing time way out to slow down sales and all the messages asking if they can get their order in two days lol I felt so burnt out and unable to work on more designs.

I do mostly sweatshirts as well. I have a similar experience as you although not quite at your level yet. Almost there!! 🎉❤ I’ve been able to do that thanks to watching countless YouTube videos like yours.

Do you recommend just doing one product like sweatshirts, or does it make sense to do t shirts as well? I was also interested in CC 1717. So T shirts for matching family designs, sweatshirts for couples or single shirt sales, and CC 1717 for adults ie, bridesmaid. I have been doing t shirts and sweatshirts so far, but have mockups for all 3.

I started my store in December, have one sale so far and many views. My question is, using printify (I use it too), how do you compete with others on pricing? I see tons of sweaters going for 8.00 or 15.00 and that’s lower than production cost for printify. I know you’re not gonna win them all, but I’m just curious where you are at on your profit percentage?

You should include how much of that is profit. Considering the marketing/ads cost and commissions on Etsy your profit is 5%-10%

I’ve had my shop for over a year now and just recently started over by archiving all of my old designs and restarting with a woven blankets only shop. However my views are super low but I get lots of clicks on one listing but NO sales so far. Any advice on how to get those first sales and keep them consistent?

Wow, you really are an inspiration Christina. This is my 3rd year fulltime and I made $187k revenue on Etsy this year. My strategy has been very similar to yours. Do you run Etsy ads in your shop? As I am already niched down I didn't see the benefit of running them. I'm curious what are your thoughts and if they are part of your Etsy success. :)

how long does it take you to get all the keywords together for all those niches? i have a hard time w this because i want to get all the best keywords and i over analyze lol..tbh i do the same w design. it all takes me a long time. i’m a slow lister but would rather have a quality listing
