It has been ages since I've touched this animation program. I remember struggling with trying to maintain a sense of depth through parallaxing by moving entire layers manually. Eventually I ended up relying on After Effects for camera stuff. So much has changed since the Flash days. Very useful tutorial. Makes me want to get back into this sometime.

u saved my LIFE with the layer depths part, i kept trying to use the 3d tool to move individual symbols in the z axis then scaling them back up and everything gets so buggy, but the layer depts stuff doesn't bug out at all. I'm so godamn thankful id kiss u on ur mouth
