How to Fix 'Ink Pad end of service life' on Epson EcoTank 2800 Printer 2023

Today I'm showing how to fix the "Ink Pad end of service life" on Epson EcoTank 2800 Printer in 2023.

I recently stumbled upon this error that I didn't know will stop the usage of my printer so I had to fix it as fast as I can. I was able to find this replacement waste tank (I know it's possible to wash the one I used but I bought this instead). I thought buying it would fix the problem but I found out I needed to reset the waste counter so I had to download the reset utility.

Hopefully, this helps you all because it helped me. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

To those of you getting rejected while reseting here's an option,

Download drivers from EPSON support. (Mine was the ET-2800)

Then try the reset again. Should work. (If you have the option to use USB instead of WiFi I recommend it. It may not be needed)

In case the printer sat for a while due to this error and doesnt use ink when printing you may need to run a few power cleans via the printers maintenance options.

I learned that the latest update causes the rejection due to drivers in some way.
