Said it recently, and will say it again; my go-to channel for any computer issues.
Because other solutions you have given worked for me, I now view your channel as a 'viable' source of information whenever I need to fix an issue. Thanks again.

Just to be sure, is the Ruffus method an entirely different way to go about this or is this whole thing the same process start to finish?

Very nicely done - thank you! I have question on a related topic. Years ago, I created a bootable utility CD. It boots to the command line prompt of Windows 98 SE. From there I run some disk utilities that are on the CD as well. As you have mentioned, many if not most newer machines do not have optical drives, so what I would like to do is make a bootable USB drive that does the same thing as the CD. You might wonder as to why I want to keep it as Windows 98 SE. Firstly, it boots up quickly as compared to using other Windows versions like PE. Secondly, the utilities I use run as text-screen programs and run well under Win98 SE. Thirdly, the memory foot print is small, and therefore ideal for messing around with older boxes that have limited RAM. Mostly what I use these utilities for is fixing messed up hard drives. I can disk-write to absolute tracks and sectors on the disk. I have found this to be necessary on occasion when changing a box from Linux to Windows. Some versions of Windows do not touch the MBR area of the disk even when doing a system format. On those occasions, I have found it necessary to write directly to track 0, sector 0 and zero them out. The the MS Format used during the normal Windows OS install will now work correctly. I remember how funny it was to see the GRUB boot loader come up after freshly converting the box from Linux to Windows. Thank you for considering this question.

Very good video thanks. It is unfortunate that Microsoft still refer to burning the iso file to a DVD because for a year or three the Windows 10 64 bit iso will no longer fit on a standard dvd!
Sometimes it is a struggle to use Linux to make a bootable W10 flash drive. In this situation you could download the 32 bit Windows 10 iso which will fit on a DVD. Then install W10.
Then you could use the media creation tool to make a 64 bit W10 flash drive. Sure it is a long winded way of doing it but if you are a Linux user wanting to get back to Windows it does work.

1 - install Ventoy on your USB key
2 - copy the windows ISO on it. DONE.
3 - Add any other ISO you might need. --> This is the practical solution.
