Simulation of wheel moving on wet ground with SImcenter STAR CCM+

Car safety is one of the important factors determining the success of a car model. In fact, cars do not always operate in the most favorable conditions. Weather, and terrain factor greatly affect the movement of car wheels. This study focuses on investigating the effects of water on wheels when traveling in watery road conditions. In the simulation, we use VOF solver for multiplase and Solid Stress tools to solve deformation of wheel . According to the input data: speed, size, and material of the wheel, level of water; the output is velocity, pressure, the force acting on the wheel, all of them help make a comment on the effect of water on wheel motion. The modeling results can improve the quality of tires to avoid disadvantages.
