I actually loved choking being the finisher for heimdall he threatened kratos' son and him just choking heimdall to death as he calls him a monster with his final breath just seems so much more disturbing than ripping him limb from limb especially when he already does that to basically every enemy in the game

Heimdalls fight was my favorite and I found it very fun, especially since Gulltoprs fight was like a warm up before getting to Heimdall

With Thor being "weaker" in the second fight, keep in mind kratos cut him with the Leviathan axe in their first duel. The axe is infused with jormunganders venom which will have definitely deteriorated Thor's strength and power, given that in mythology at Ragnarok despite thor killing the serpent, its venom kills Thor after his victory.

Those fights are just underwhelming because of the difficulty, they're nowhere near being bad they're just easier than you'd expect them to be.
I went deathless to the Aesir bosses in this game while being "underlined" and in highest difficulty.
But still good fights, I liked Odin and Heimdall, its just the final battle against Thor that was sort of disappointing because of his predictable attacks, slow attack speed, and not that many attack variations (when compared to Gna and King Beserker).

Story mode Bosses need to be like that so you don't get stocked on one Boss for hours like fighting Berserkers and GNA😂.
