I watched it live when I was a kid of 8 years old. I remember it because of all the excitement the grown up had for it. I knew who _Neil Armstrong_ and _Buzz Aldrin_ were when I saw all three of them when the got home I asked who the _"other guy"_ was. My father told me _"Michael Collins, the most important one."_ I asked why. My father told _"Because he brought them all home."_
That stuck with me.

I remember when kennedy made the speech about landing a man on the moon by the end of the decade, we did it quicker than anyone would have thought, and they all came back in good shape. Its a shame the Vietnam vets didnt get a welcome back like the astronauts. They should have!!😢❤

I was 13 then and remember everything. I was mindful of Michael Collins on the back side of moon as it was a VERY daring trip and rendezvous with LM. Today this generation of kids believe we did NOT land on moon - pathetic! Also the earth IS a globe and NOT flat. God bless our astronauts and USA! Micheal Collins wasn’t an unknown. He had the hardest job of them all. I was in 1st grade and I’ll never forget that moment . I got to meet Buzz a few times and that is also a moment I won’t forget. He is a very Interesting and very smart man.

Around the 8:50 minute mark, the commentator said Armstrong, and Aldrin drove around in a lunar rover. They did not have a rover on Apollo 11.

At 8:50 the video says " as Armsrong and Aldrin went around on the Lunar Rover"...is incorrect as the Apollo 11 mission did not include a rover.

How come at 10 mins 5 seconds their shadows were in opposite directions ? There must be more than one light source to do that. If it was just the Sun the shadows would be in the same direction !
