I recently got the new Samsung Galaxy S21 and these are the first 8 things I did to set up and customize my new Samsung S21! If you're looking for ways to customize your Samsung or any other Android phone, then I hope that you learned some good Android customization tips from this video! omg! finally someone else who uses the sidebar! you can change what size it is, what colour, how transparent it is, and if you press and hold it you can move it up and down left and right, and also in settings you can lock the position so you can't move it by accident. Also, you can have more than one panel on at once. All you have to do to get to the other panels is open the sidebar, and swipe right and left as if your going through your app drawer :)

I've had an iphone for a few years since I wanted to experience the hype of it esp since all my friends are iphone users and though, i do like it, I prefer samsung and I hope to finally be able to get a samsung this year once I start my new job :)

The S21 also came with the folder color spectrum. For years we've been able to change the colors of our folders but now with 3.1 UI we can also have a spectrum to add more colors. It comes with an opacity feature and saturation. This feature is coming to other phones in an update when they get 3.1 but it shipped with the S21, S21 Plus and S21 Ultra.

There is a color wheel coming to the clocks on the always on display in the future. It was supposed to be added in One UI 3.0 but it got delayed. Once it releases you'll also be able to use your emojicons as an always on display as well. I believe we'll see this feature added to one ui 3.5 or one ui 4.0. It got delayed more likely cause they were adding a spectrum to folder colors so they can add the spectrum to the always on display clock colors later.

Right now with those clocks you only have pastel colors. When we get the color wheel we can choose bright colors. The lockscreen clocks have a color wheel.

I agree at the swipe gesture, its more easy for me to navigate ++ it's not confusing since sometimes i got confused in using navigation bar.

I don't know if you know this, or if someone else has commented this before, but you can actually still have a theme on your phone but change individual things, like the lock screen and home screen. So if you still want to have one of those preloaded lock screens but everything else the paper airplane theme, you can do that. (at least on my Samsung a10e which runs android 9)
