I've commented on your videos years ago over this same problem that I still face as of today. My problem is I have a very small social circle and nobody has the time of day to write these lengthy short novels of a letter for me. I've thought about writing the letters myself and have other people sign them and get them notarized I've been so desperate. I don't think I could accomplish making myself sound like different people in these letters to pull it off.

The single part of the process that has always kept me from being able to get my license back is the testimonial letter requirement. My license has been revoked for over 8 1/2 years now for two OWI convictions from 2012 and 2015. I have remained completely sober for nearly 6 years now to top it off and haven't been in trouble since. It drives me nuts to think if this was Ohio my license would have been only suspended for 45 days followed by a hardship license. All I can do is drive as safely and carefully as possible in order to survive. Yes, I own two vehicles that are both registered, plated and insured in my name. If they don't ever get rid of that letter requirement I'll most certainly have to go the rest of my life living this way. Yes, it is possible to live without a license, but I'm tired of it. I mean I only drive to work and for essential reasons but damn do I miss being able to travel and go places. I Michigan once they revoke your license they basically don't want you to ever be able to legally drive again. In any other state in this country I'd still have a valid driver's license. I never hurt anyone either when I did get caught back in the day. The laws are just out of hand in this state over this situation. My l life came to an abrupt end legally on June 17, 2015. Here I am sober since 2017, and still can't accomplish this endeavor. It's frustrating and depressing.
