honestly i am seriously considering building an environmental protection suit for the canadian extremes, namely the smoke from forest fires. as a desperate asthmatic i am tired of not having effective solutions to my condition and considering where i live it makes perfect sense to need an impermeable membrane. to the average person this sounds totally unreasonable but you aren't looking outside and seeing the air threatening to kill you.

I've started an NASA AX2 'hard-suit' project.
Rigid shells connected via air-tight (mostly!) bearings.
No tedious layers and layers of stiff fabric, no 'inflation posing' like every fabric suit is prone to.

I want a suit to remove heat from the body. Heat wave kills people but if they frozen water bottles they could have a relatively low powered heat removal system . Almost every American has access to freezer and 2 liter bottles ? Why not have the extra space taken up by bottles we would normally throw away . Power goes out you power your recirculation pump by a solar panel, and battery thus saving lives that normally would be at risk if power failure or just plain old poverty was the case.
