I was sitting pretty much directly across from the fracas in the stands. all I could see was someone wearing yellow get hauled out. I was expecting Mickey would make a comment about ginger ales :)

Id like that goal call more if the league was more consistent about these types of calls as a whole. So many of these are said to be “inconclusive” because the puck isnt totally visible and cant clearly be seen entirely crossing the goal line, but then they have instances where they are able to deem it a good goal, such as this, where you are still questioning whether it crossed the line or not.
They really gotta make up their minds when it comes to this stuff.

That goal that they gave Pittsburgh was bogus that puck never crossed the goaline since the puck was in jimmy's glove and his glove didn't cross the goalline

Still refereeing majic for Pittsburgh with PPs 3-1 favor them with a couple conspicuous no-calls to help the PPs; and Malkin's goal was not conclusive on replay (was puck 100% over line? - no view showed this); Crosby -2.

It sucks but they made the right call. If the puck crosses the line it’s a goal and it seemed to me like the webbing crossed the goal line because of the puck.

What a weird roster to look at now. Zetterberg, Howard, Abdelkader, Helm, Nyquist and Tatar...there's Bertuzzi and Larkin...and a bunch of guys who were just placeholders.

Seeing how good Z could be even at that point in his career just reinforces why he was my favorite player.
