When using YORI and HOUGA, the NO particle is only used with nouns, right?
I believe the examples 1 and 3 you gave are wrong in this matter. It should be "Yomu houga" and "Futoi houga", I think.

Just a note on an English example in the video. In English words like "Always" (adverbs of frequency) are used with Present Simple. For example, "The child always plays in the kitchen." But if you use Present Continuous with "always", you are expressing that this habit annoys you - "The child is always playing in the kitchen." I think you meant to use the first one, but you used Present Continuous, so the meaning is maybe not what you intended. :)

I am a little bit confuse about the use of より.. ほうが, in how to use, if you use verb, it suppose without の, it supposes to be より...ほうが, but in the example, you use の and it becomes より..のひうが...

ce devrait être : 漢字は書くより読む方が簡単です。
