His explanations are married to physical interpretations of these concepts - e.g., his explanation on hilbert spaces. Generally this is okay but these concepts are actually separate from any physical interpretation. This is why we can do things like data modeling and machine learning, things that utilize these concepts but have no strong basis in the physical world.
