For those who, like me, are often disappointed by "programmable" RGB that actually aren't programmable and just have three different rainbow effects and solid colors, this isn't the case for your PC ! You can actually program every individual LED in your computer using OpenRGB !

i just added a rgb cpu cooler to my build and i thought i would have to buy a bus because my mother board only has one 3pin rgb header which one of my case fans was using. you mentioned daisy chaining and i immediately shut down my system and started digging and sure enough my cpu cooler had a daisy chain plug. now both of my fans light up, thanks!

Corsair owns Elgato, which is crazy on how well the Elgato products work together. Elgato my fav brand because of the quality tbh

Also make sure you buy ARGB or addressable RGB otherwise you might not be able to control the color. Some older fans I have just use blue or red all the time.

OpenRGB is really good if you just want pretty simple effects

Also, don't forget to tell people about the difference when using LED. I got an rgb aio and ram for my first pc but the fans that came with the case were LED and I did not know that, I spent an hour trying to figure out why the software wasn't detecting everything and only working on some (the AIo and ram sticks) then I read that I had LED lights in most of my fans and that it can only be changed to basic colors with the case. Lesson learned.

My rgb has controllers on the back of the case. It makes it easy to change the lighting without unnecessary programs on my pc.
