How to Upgrade from Mac OS X Lion to macOS High Sierra

Dude! You get double internet points today! I had to replace my SSD hard drive on a 2012 Mac Air and Lion was the only option to get it running. I say running but more like 'AOL called and they would like to send you a CD to explore the interwebs'. Nothing would work with an outdated Lion OS. This guide is so easy to follow and worked. Apparently I’m spending one 24 hour day of my life fixing this MacBook Pro been up since 5:30am. Keyboard and trackpad don’t work and previous owner didn’t do a fresh install. It’s a whole ordeal to get around that to do it myself but I got this for $200—2013 MacBook Pro Retina 2.8ghz, 16GB, 756gb SSD, Nvidia 1gb GFX, so it’s worth it.

After the update I’ll crack it open and see if I gotta replace the keyboard and trackpad.
