Great video and glad I saw this as I just purchase the axiom 7 and the ray73 and have ordered the Seatalk starter kit to complete the installation.
But I’m still not clear on one issue. With the Seatalk kit should I now NOT connect 12v power lead to each unit?

I’ve now got power to each device but when I install the network kit should I now remove the power to each unit? Just need to be sure I don’t risk a short with double power sources.

I have just taken delivery of a Raymarine Element S, could you show me how to connect this to other devices (log etc) via names 2000?

Thanks a lot. Can I connect two Raymarine Element units using this method to share sonar and gps data? And do you still need to connect the power cables of the two units to the boat battery? Or the power cable to this netwerk is enough to power both units. Thanks
