I agree with the Curry point about him changing the game at all levels across the entire world. Football is really only an American thing. Plus Curry has the awards and records to go with it.

In 5-10 years, the amount of QB's from high school to the NFL that will have adopted aspects of the Mahomes play style (and the type of QBs that will be the most heavily recruited and drafted) will be staggering. Kids are already getting his haircut and mimicking him in the backyard like kids in my generation pretended to be Jordan vs. whoever. That's legitimately changing the game. Ring count and stats are kinda diminishing because he's beyond just playing football and is already a pop culture and American cultural icon.

The hardest position to play in team sport is qb and its not even close. The prep work of getting your mind and body right to play one a week, 16 times a year is more difficult then dribbling and shooting. Im a diehard chiefs fan since 2003 but id say curry. Curry has 4 championships, 2 fiba world cup wins, and the gold medal (something mahomes probably wont ever get) Mahomes contract is bigger but steph still signed two 200mil contracts. Hands down the greatest shooter of all time. Im basing this answer on right now. We will see where patrick goes from here.

Mahomes has not really changed the game as much as the newer rule changes have helped mobile qbs and big tight ends be more effective than they would be in the 80's....

Give me Steph. And that first guy was comparing apples to oranges. You can't say, "Steph will never be in the greatest player ever conversation, " but then only compare Mahomes to other QBs. Steph is in the "greatest PG ever" conversation right now. And he has been hugely responsible for a revamping of the sport he plays.
