I like this plan, especially video 6, adding the drill press.
I have a 12" DeWalt and I am making the cabinet wider (43") to also accommodate my bench top drill press.
It solves the problem of the chips and dust from both machines.

I thought that movement was a possible problem when the arms were up but that has not been the case. Gravity holds them down just fine and I can bump into them without them collapsing. I don't see magnets being necessary when in the down position. They sit still fine and are not in the way. Thanks for the input and thanks for stopping by. Have a good day!

Thanks for sharing the supports. I went with a different smaller design for the cabinet that fit my space. But I'm using your arms. Love how your arms use kreg screws for the hinges( brilliant ). The cabinet designplans I used called for these fancy hinges that you need to order on line. Forget that! I'm creating a hybrid of the two. Thanks again Bruh.

I've been looking at all these videos of mitre saw stations and I really like this idea I like how you used screws for hinges I'm going to start my mobile station today again your idea is great for the guy out there with limited resources do you still have this and use

too complicated, better yet that piece is too heavy for portable, just make extensions permanent
