How does the G27 stand up to the competition 2 years later?

hey, sorry for the really late reply. The wheel does not have a PS button, and no i dont believe that you can set a button to reverse. Especially on manual

no, the cars don't stall in dirt 3 or gran turismo 5. If you fail a shift (in gt5) it goes into neutral and makes a huge fuss about getting back into gear depending on the car.

and by rolling do you mean like when you're on a hill and the car rolls back when u release the clutch? thing is, when you're driving on a track like the Nürburgring where it could happen, you're driving pretty fast lol. but yeah if you're starting from a stop (and not flooring it) it will roll back a bit when on a hill

Just a tip for keeping the pedals accurate:
Get something to cover the pedals when not using them or they will collect tons of dust wich will make them more inaccurate, trust me it won't be pretty

Cool vid, im buying it next week. Few questions... Do the cars stall when driving manual? And when letting the clutch out will the car start rolling a bit like a real manual car??

You can buy a PS2 to Xbox360 controller converter pretty cheap, and that works. You can use the G27 in Forza on 360 then.

how is it annoying with the reverse gear they made it for a realistic feal and some cars you have to push the shifter down to get to reverse..

Would you recommend buying this used? Will it have lots of damage if it's one year old or is there not much of a difference?

well the thing is that this won't work on xbox. but if you're using a PC, this wheel is much better and more than worth it. but then again if you're just going to use it to race every once in a while, you might as well keep the mc2.

that's odd, does it calibrate itself when you connect it to your pc? have you tried remapping in game buttons to the g27? I played dirt 3 on the pc with this and had no problems

unfortunately, they don't. the driving for gt doesn't even have a port for the shifter
