Jack Smith Asks For & Gets 3-Week Delay In Trump's DC Criminal Case; Here's Likely Reason For Delay

Special Counsel Jack Smith asked for a rare delay in the criminal proceedings in Donald Trump's DC prosecution for trying to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election. This development inspired speculation that Smith is now trying to delay the case, or maybe that he's not up to the task of prosecuting Trump.

This speculation is nonsense. Smith and his team have been going gangbusters after Trump and his criminal cabal. The reasons for the requested delay can be gleaned from the language Smith included in his motion to Judge Tanya Chutkan seeking the delay.

As a career federal prosecutor, I had the experience of struggling to get the higher-ups at the DOJ to make decisions that would allow me to move forward in my cases. This video includes my experiences in that regard.

People should remember that Jack Smith was a prosecutor in the Hague. He prosecuted War Criminals. Before that, he had a Stella reputation career in the American Justice system. He's not a " newbie " in the Justice system. He may get frustrated over judge Cannons ridiculous rulings? But he will bring his knowledge of the legal system to bare and get her removed from the case eventually.
It's not hard to compare Jack Smiths decades of prosecuting top criminals to that of a judge with only 20 or so hours overseeing criminal cases. That's before you take into account that she has no real knowledge of the law, she breaks all the rules of being a judge by being biased in favor of the accused and who has shown that she is corrupt in her " paperless " rulings.
She would rather follow the advice given by a corrupt member of SCOTUS, than follow the real rule of law.
She should be removed and impeached.
Corruption has no place in the legal system.
