Ah, but still I find the most wonderful part at the end of the story. The man who was freed, worshiped Jesus!!! And asked Jesus if he could come with him! Surprising and interesting, Jesus said it isn’t necessary to come with me…stay with your family and tell them the amazing things God has done for you! This is what we should do as well!

What people fail to realize about this is this: pigs, the filthiest animals, would rather drown than be possessed by an unclean spirit, and yet we who are made in God's image, fearlessly welcome entry to places and things unclean spirits dwell. Its rather sad and pathetic on our behalf that a pig has more spiritual sense than us.

Incredible story, the fact that demons desire any form of physicality over anything else is so telling. It is my belief that we are surrounded by the possessed and may never even know it.

I’ve been born again as of Nov. 2018. I always believed in God and became a lukewarm Christian over time. I did shrooms, drank, but mostly smoked pot everyday. I look back and can’t believe how patient Jesus has been waiting for me (I’m 40). I have been saved by an angel or Jesus (not sure at the time) at least twice, but possibly 3 times.

A voice told me to let off the gas pedal when I was going through an intersection, as soon as I did, a truck blew a stop sign that would have killed me. I also fell asleep at the wheel another time and WOKE up while driving sitting upright and very much positioned like a robot. I ended up on the other side of town somehow! Fell into a pool’s deep end as a child, somehow my mother knew to check on me and pulled me out.

I had another experience where I was praying about a relative that was brutally murdered and burned alive years prior. I was HIT like a sledgehammer with unexplainable peace and joy. Instantly tears poured out of my eyes and I had the breath sucked out of me, totally winded. It was like I was experiencing the joy of heaven but my human body could not handle it! I also experienced an interaction with several demons in the basement of a psychic lady’s house who summoned them and spoke to them nightly. The fear and anger I felt as their eyes pierced my soul was like nothing of this and over and over Jesus was calling me!!! I was too much of a fool to notice, even though I believed in Him!

In November of 2018, after a minor argument with my fiancée, I heard a demon’s voice talk to me telepathically in my mind- “I hate you, I’ll kill you and tear your family apart.” With the most conviction in my soul I commanded that thing to leave my house in the name of Jesus Christ. Every room in the house I yelled at it. I felt our Lord blast through my house and beat those things down! Whoosh gone! I prayed and thanked him and repented for allowing them to get close to me. He talked to me telepathically asking me questions and made me feel the guilt of my sins. Lots of information as a sort of psychic download into my heart and mind simultaneously. Question 1: “After all I’ve done for you, what have you done for Me, and others?” Question 2: “Am I NOT enough for you?” Then, the weight of my sins lifted, it was incredible.

Since that moment, I’ve had no desire to drink, smoke, blaspheme, masterbate, be angry, stressed out or sin at all. Wanting to share love with no other possible explanation. I notice the tiniest signs he puts in my path....I see them right away and chuckle, seeing He really does work in mysterious ways. I fully understand how to have a relationship with him and not need to physically see or hear our relationship. He is incredible people! Let him into your heart! I had felt in my soul the the extremes of joy and sorrow through just some of my life Feeling the presence of God and Satan deep inside through strange encounters. For that, I am blessed to KNOW Christianity is the truth, yet I STILL tried to not fully commit.

On top of everything mentioned in this video: The demons chose the pigs because they were intent on tormenting the people in that area. The demons caused the herd of pigs to be destroyed as a last ditch effort to bring harm to the people in that area. It was allowed because pigs are unclean animals, and from the perspective of Torah, which Jesus completely observed, they weren’t good for the people because it made them unclean, which separated them from God. The people begged Him to depart from them because they attributed what they perceived as their loss to the wrong source. They neglected to see the multiple blessings bestowed, and ultimately rejected the salvation that stood before them. This is a great lesson on how demons work. Even when they’re cast out, they will seek to destroy and deceive as they depart, often taking things that seem to be valuable with them as they go. The trial we face is whether or not we allow that which is lost to separate us from the source of our salvation, or do we chose to cling to Him despite our perceived loss.

i just read the story this afternoon and i laugh when i read that, they saw Jesus and they begged Him to leave. what?😂 how fool they are to love the pigs more than Jesus,

and i start look at myself and realized that those ppl in that story was me, and those pigs are my sins, i used to love sin against God, and i refuse Jesus's mercy to help me😭
but Glory to God, Jesus is so faithful to me, He still give me chance till im 22, and i accept Him as my personal Lord and savior❤❤

Its about the demons longing for a body. They are jealous of our bodies because they will never possess flesh of their own.

When I was a youngling in college and high school, I was sucked into the cult of Atheism, which is essentially an anti-God cult. They pretend as though they don't believe in any gods, but spend 90% of their time bashing our Christian God, Jesus, etc.
In those times, I felt no joy or inspiration. I was lost to Earthly desires and cravings of the flesh. My spirit, was dying and on life support.
Then, a good Christian friend of mine made an effort. He convinced me to go to church with him. A couple of times. And although I didn't re-awaken yet, I felt the Holy Spirit in that church. And it started my skepticism of atheism. The profound feeling that overwhelms your body, and makes you literally feel the inspiration and love of Christ.
For a long time afterwards, I was confused, and coping with that realization. I created a fantasy that God exists, but that He is probably nothing like we expect based on Christianity or any other interpretation. I thought that God was more of an observer with a passive role.
About a year ago, I was finally awakened. I started really looking into God. Watching videos from pastors, and reading Bible passages, and I realized the profound truth of the Bible. It's wisdom and ability to convey the state of mind of societies, as well as the message of what it takes to be truly happy are the only path that has worked to ease the hardships of my life, and bring back my spirit.
Anyone professing to be happy without God, to me, is a liar.
I've lived that life, and I've seen people living those lives, and no matter how much they lie and profess that they are happy, content, and satisfied, I know they lie. There is a fear in them, a fear of death. A fear of losing the material. A fear of losing the earthly and the flesh.
Tell me then, how can one be happy or have purpose when one fears the loss of earthly things? When one values their flesh and desires over their values and salvation?
