Good video but I think you forgot to add some pictures/slides. Multiple times like during the Charizard segment and the Cynthia segment you said something like "...instead of THIS" without showing or describing what "this" is.

The elemental monkeys are underrated. They really dont deserve the hate they get. The elemental monkeys are pretty good in battle. They can dish out pretty strong attacks, can be speedy, and have good coverage. The thing with the monkeys tho is that they dont have the best defence but the strength and speed they have make up for it

I’m happy to see the love for Breloom dude. Such an underrated Pokémon that’s always been a personal favorite of mine from Gen 3

My hottest take is that the 3d models made some designs a lot better. Like the 2d sprites for the porygon line honestly have nothing interesting going on at all, but they went CRAZY with the 3d animations for porygon and porgon-z (and I guess porygon2 being a drinking bird thing is funny)

all Boss battles except for the first 2-3 rival battles should have at least 4 pokemon, no excuse, all Boss battles after the 4th gym should have a full team, no exception

Gen 5 and Gen 7 are the best in my opinion, and while 5 finally got the attention it deserves, it's nice to finally see someone else appreciating Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon as well.

I have a stong connection to gen 6 because of some wonder trades and battling online a lot. I also really liked ORAS. My issue with gen 6 is it feels like they abandoned it too quickly. Unlike SwSh that we got 2 dlcs for (which a hot take of *mine* is SwSh are good, just the story was bad and the dlc somewhat helped the overall package), we got pretty much nothing in gen 6, and X and Y feel unfinished.

My hot take: Empoleon, Emboar and Meganium are not that bad, Meganium is getting shitted on because johto isn't nice to grass types, empoleon is cool and i am willing to make the argument that he is the best sinnoh starter and emboar is my least favouirte out of the gen 5 starters but i do still like him because he was a walking W in my gen 5 nuzlockes

I only disagree about the necrozma fight because if you are playing for the first time it is easy to be wiped out by it as the game has been pretty easy till then so its unexpected. But if you know its coming then its easy to say that.

1:50 the thing isn’t that we hate humanoid Pokémon, it’s that we hate when like a cat becomes a man. Riolu turning into a humanoid like Anubis is fair play. Zigzagoon turning into a full grown man is not.

I’m not the biggest fan of their evolutions, but the base monkeys are amazing Pokémon idk why they get as much hate as they do.

Saying Lucario is bad and Incineroar is good, as well as saying Delphox, Primarina, Cinderace and Meowscarada are the worst of their trios are definitely the spiciest takes in this video. I appreciate not saying Serperior is the worst Unova Starter, but to me, it's the best one.

And its super sucky to see when so many of the ones people don't like are your favorite starters of the gens.

Not sure if this is a hot take, but we don't need a new generation every 3 years, it would be good to add more time between each new gen, and not all new games with a new story or map need to be new gens either
