That style of mower brings back so many childhood memories. That's the very first mower I had ever used. But mine wasn't gas-powered. It's was me powered. Lol

I guarantee that if I'd done the reassembly I'd have 6 screws left over. 😆😆😆 Nicely done.

How a video like this only has 242, 000 views while your restorations of some old cast iron pans have over 1, 000, 000 is amazing to me. This restoration was complicated and came out beautifully. Meanwhile, the pan videos were super basic and easy. Oh well, goes to show you never know what people are going to want to watch.

Great job!! Reminds me of the old Scott Bonnar mower my parents had years ago. I rebuilt the engine, replaced bearings, soaked the chains, then my brother used it. He wasn't prepared for what happened next. He gave it full throttle, & it got away from him. It ended up getting caught up in the fence. Very funny to watch, as a self propelled mower was moving across the yard, with my brother in "hot" pursuit!!

Excellent restoration of a wonderful vintage mower. It's a survivor because it's made of thick steel. If it were plastic, it wouldn't be around. It's good it is self propelled. I'm sure it's a heavy piece of equipment. Great video.

I like your method of dismantling the equipment for this video. It was most informative and you didn’t speed up the video. Rather you took the time to show in detail what steps are necessary for a proper out come. Thank you for this video.

Very nice rebuild. Mowed many a yard with one when I was a kid, My grandfather had one, I can remember it getting away from me a few times. Haven't seen one in years.

I like the construction of the engine, where the gas tank is used as carberutor tank, meaning no float or needle valve is needed, it just sucks the gas fram the tank directly than going via a intermediate carberutor cup. That greatly simplifies carbeturtor design.
