User perspectives is dangerous. Businesses will be inclined to pay influencers to create review like content for their products thus losing the authenticity factor that should accompany a genuine review. Reversed, one can drown competition. This is already happening and if it becomes prominent, who knows!

Consider that with chat GPT you can simply ask your phone and have it speak the answer back to you, no need to visibly look at search results. I use a Siri shortcut to chat GPT for this all the time now. (Siri is just the gateway to chat GPT) Another factor is openAI itself which has become a de facto search engine and does not rely on an existing search business model

Google and Bing will inevitably try to keep the current business model relevant but I don't know if that's going to work when people can just ask and get their answers through third-party tools.

I’m speechless, in shock, and kinda excited about this….but sucks that SEO traffic will take a big hit :/ It kind of seems to me that Google is even trying to become one platform that includes every aspect of social media…we’ll see how things go in the foreseeable future!
