I used to be like her. Running off when she realized that she was going to have a harder time debating abortion when she faced the parallel to abolishing slavery is exactly what I would have done when I was pro life. Facing logic, and reasoning when coming from such an emotional and brainwashed standpoint was scary and I would get flustered and opt out just like she did. But here I am now, having totally broken free of the brainwashing after 50 years. I hope she can get here faster than I did.

I love the tax payer comment. She hadn’t really thought through the ownership aspect of “her” public university. I feel bad for her that she is so willing to try and suppress another citizen’s free speech because she doesn’t agree with their perspective. She is complicit in the erosion of her own constitutional rights. Her faux superiority belies her own insecurities about having an alternative perspective represented on campus. If she really thought that the abolitionists message was meritless and couldn’t/shouldn’t be taken seriously, then she why would she care if they were on campus?
