Top Winter Destinations in Peloponnese Greece: Arkadia | Αρκαδία

This is our third trip to the region of Arcadia, Peloponnese. A very beautiful and special road trip, which started from the plain of Mantineia near Tripoli and the church of Agia Fotini and ended in Stemnitsa.
We passed through Elati which is built on the slopes of Mount Mainalo and the place where the Holy Temple of Zoodochou Pigi is located, we continued to the almost abandoned village of Pyrgaki and then we "got lost" on the route that passes through beautiful fir trees before finally reaching the beautiful and picturesque village of Stemnitsa.
The snow on the road and at its edges, made our route even more magical. Our stops were frequent, especially in the places where the rapid river Mylaontas appeared. Mountainous Arcadia is indeed an ideal winter destination, and the beautiful routes through the fir trees create an admiration and a peace of mind, which is difficult to describe if one does not experience it.
