Almost unbelievable beauty. My preferred musical genre is classical, but this young lady has a skills set which, although different, rivals that of any classical singer, and puts as much of her character into her interpretations as any classical singer, if not more.

Why only "almost" unbelievable beauty? Simple! There is massive reality in Putri Ariani's singing and piano playing. She does not need to be believed, as she is exceptionally real and the beauty of her work can be known as a matter of fact.

I just wish whoever uploads these videos would stop calling Putri Ariani's exquisitely crafted interpretations "covers". A cover is made when an artiste with little potential for originality produces a slavish copy of the work of another artiste, when singer B covers every move of singer A. This video should be simply titled "Putri Ariani sings Fly Me To The Moon".

When Miguel Fleta gave the first performance of Nessun Dorma in 1926 he sang it his way, (note the cheesy Sinatra reference...), and since then many less-than-greats have tried to cover his, or some other tenor's, interpretation because they do not have, or did not have, the quality necessary to do their own thing, but the real greats have deployed all their skills and talent to sing their own interpretations. For the less-than-great performances of Nessun Dorma listen to any of a long list of over-rated hacks, (no names...), for a great interpretation of Nessun Dorma listen to Franco Corelli.

I hope that illustrates the reasons why I want whoever uploads the videos of Putri Ariani to respect her most unique interpretations of every song with which she graces us by banishing the word "cover".

"Fly Me To The Moon", sebuah daripada senarai lagu Top di persada muzik dunia. Pada tahun 1999, lagu ini dimasukkan sebagai "Towering Song", dalam senarai "Songwriters Hall of Fame". Asalnya, "Fly Me To The Moon" ini ditulis, dengan mengambil masa 20 minit sahaja untuk menyiapkannya, oleh Pemain Piano, Bart Howard, pada tahun 1954, dengan judul asalnya "In Other Words". Hanya pada tahun 1964, muncul versi Frank Sinatra, dengan judul "Fly Me to the Moon". Ini bersempena misi Apollo ke Bulan. Seandainya judul "Fly Me to the Moon" diterjemahkan, ialah "Terbangkan Aku ke Bulan." Pada sekitar bulan Jun 2020, Super Star Putri Ariani cover lagu ini versi Frank Sinantra, judul yang sama, English. Ada yang mengakui nyanyian bawaan versi Putri Ariani, lebih bagus. Ini kerana bawaan Putri Ariani mendendangkan lagu "Fly Me To The Moon" terasa pancaran dari jiwanya. Terus meresap ke telinga dan menusuk ke jiwa sebahagian kita. Putri Ariani persembahkan suara, dengan kelembutan dan manja. Itulah yang menyebabkan cover ini istimewa, dan didengari ramai, nyaman banget. Semoga impian bidang nyanyian dan muzik Putri Ariani, barangkali setinngi Bulan, dan Bersinar terang, dicapai sepenuhnya.

Putri Ariani is simply exquisite, one of the best singers I have ever seen. I have seen the videos of her doing covers of jazz, Bruno Mars and even Queen. And of course the incredible AGT audition. Looking forward to more performances to come
